New! NE Student Award

The purpose of the NE DPG Professional Development Dietetic Student Award program is:

1. To recognize the emerging leadership and achievement of students in CADE-accredited and approved dietetics education programs.
   
2. To encourage the entrepreneurial endeavors of students in CADE-accredited and approved dietetics education programs.
   
3. To encourage student participation in the American Dietetic Association (ADA) and NE DPG.
   

The recipient of this award will:

1. Attend the NE DPG board meeting during the American Dietetic Association’s Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo (FNCE).
2. Attend and volunteer at all NE DPG activities and events.
3. Publish an article that highlights his/her experience with the NE DPG at FNCE in NE DPG's quarterly newsletter, Ventures.
